I have a ITIMAT faucet product installed and would like to change the handles and cartridges. Can I change them?
Yes, most handles and cartridges are interchangeable back to our 1967 product line.

How do I stop my faucet from leaking?
Most leaks/drips can be repaired by changing a cartridge and/or seat.

Are replacement parts available?
Yes, parts for our current standard products are available.

Who will fix my faucet?
Most repairs are simple and can be done by the homeowner. If you are still under your home manufacturer warranty the dealer may do the repairs.

Can I install a ITIMAT faucet product myself?
Yes, ITIMAT faucet products may be easily installed in a home or business.

Can I repair my ITIMAT faucet product?
Yes, in most cases maintenance and repair may be performed quickly and easily.

How do I clean ITIMAT faucet products?
Use a mild soap and water with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleansers for this will void the warranty on the finish.

The water in the shower is either hot or cold; I can't get any temperature in-between. What's wrong?
This is often caused by mineral deposits that build up over time.
I have a single lever faucet and I can't get the handle off.
1. Turn off the water under the sink.
2. Put your handle in the ""on"" position
3. If you have an index button pop it off with your fingernail
4. With a 3/32"" Allen wrench, loosen the set screw and lift straight up to remove the handle."

My newly installed kitchen faucet drips after I shut it off.
If there is NO hand spray, operate the handle on and off about 15-20 times. If you have a handspray, hold it in the sink and operate it 15-20 times real fast, this will remove any air left in your supply lines.

How do I replace a cartridge faucet?
The great thing about modern cartridge faucet is that drips and leaks can often be stopped by simply replacing the cartridge. This is much less challenging to the non-plumber than the old-fashioned stem type valves. Here's how it is done:
1. Turn off the water at the water-supply valve. You'll usually find these under the sink (or in the wall behind the shower assembly - often in a closet behind a removable panel). If you don't see these shutoffs, you'll have to shut off the main water supply.
2. Open the faucet to drain your water lines before you begin to take the faucet apart.
3. Remove the handle from the faucet. Since most handles are screwed on, you'll have to remove the screw, which may be hiding under a decorative cap. You should be able to lift or jiggle the handle off. Put the handle aside after you've gotten it off.
4. Carefully pull the cartridge out of the fixture with pliers. (Some brands of faucet may have a lock ring or lock nut that holds the cartridge in place. You'll have to remove this with a screwdriver or pliers first. Otherwise, you won't be able to get the cartridge out.)
5. Take the cartridge to your local hardware or plumbing supply store and buy a replacement.
6. Install the new cartridge and reassemble the faucet.
7. Turn the water back on and check for leaks. "

Do I always have to buy a new cartridge when it leaks?
Not always. Sometimes all you need to do is replace the washer and spring from the bottom of the faucet. This beats buying a new cartridge by several dollars.

Is the cartridge always the same for all ITIMAT faucet?
Yes, one and the same cartridge is suitable for all ITIMAT faucet manufactured since 1967.
Before installing the ITIMAT faucet on my newly built home what should I do?
Do not install your ITIMAT faucet until clean water pass through pipes

What is the connection range of axis between cold water - hot water system on the batary?
As stated in the standard hot water should be left and cold water should be right. Distance between axis should be 153 mm (15 cm).

Do the battary which I bought at ITIMAT Sanitary Wares comply with the standard ceramic sink?
ITIMAT Sanitary Wares are manufactured in accordance with the TSE and the European standards so in this subject will not experience any compatibility problems.

Flywheel is jamming in the opening and closing on single tap
Packing group must be controlled, if necessary, and should be changed.

Less water is flowing from the output end.
Filters (perlator) which is in the output end should be disassembled then cleaned.

Is there any problem when I remove the battery in order to look inside?
By adjusting your battery is mounted in a sensitive way during production, assembly is done in accordance with standards torching. When you remove your battery you can not perform this technique and therefore your battary may miss the water.

What should I look out for longevity?
1. Do not attempt to disassemble products,
2. Before assembling, thrown out of the dirt in your plumbing with water in the pipes,
3. If your water is not clean, mount the filter into the main entrance of the plumbing (next to the counter). Clean the filter at certain times.
4. If the water pressure in your area have more than 10 (bar) atmosphere, mount pressure-lowering at the main entrance and apartment entrance. This is necessary for your other products.
5. Use plastic-covered keys during assembly in order not that scratching,
